Autism Manitoba Welcomes Back Dr. Temple Grandin!

Parking

There is free parking outside The Leaf. Follow the signs when you turn into the park from Corydon at Shaftesbury Blvd. Take the first right turn (if you blink you will miss it). You will pass more than one parking lot on your way to the front doors of The Leaf.

Seating 

This event has arranged seating. If there is someone you would like to sit with at this event, please email communications@autismmanitoba.ca with your request. 

Are you attending the event alone? No problem! This will be a great opportunity for you to meet new people. Please also feel free to email communications@autismmanitoba.ca with requests such as: please seat me with other parents, SLPs, social workers, ECEs, teachers etc.

Lunch will be buffet style, and include the following:

Book Signing

McNally Robinson will be in the mezzanine selling a selection of Dr. Temple Grandin's books, and during the lunch break you are invited to line up and have a copy of your book signed by Temple herself!

Raffle Baskets & 50/50 Tickets

We’ve received some amazing raffle basket donations, and we’re excited to offer the chance to win great prizes!

Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets will be available for purchase during lunch. Please note there is an ATM machine on the first floor of The Leaf. Debit or credit are also accepted. 

The winning tickets will be drawn at 2:15 p.m. in the Event Hall. Please note that you must be present to win one of our great prizes.

All proceeds raised from the raffle will go towards providing financial support to individuals living with autism. We thank you in advance for your support! 

Door Prize

Everyone in attendance will have a chance at winning a Roomba Robot Vacuum Cleaner. No raffle ticket purchase necessary!

Trade Show

Meet some nice people who provide needed services to the autism community in Manitoba. Trade Show tables will be set up in the mezzanine.
